Practice merger

Posted on 1 April 2019

We want to let you know about important changes to both practices on the second floor of Cornerstone Medical Centre.

Over the past few years there have been increased pressures placed upon GP services. Our two practices share the same commitment to quality and patient care so we have jointly decided that the best way to continue to offer our patients a quality, efficient service is to merge the practices.

By merging we will be able to share working arrangements and work together to preserve high quality GP services for this area. We have begun to make arrangements to merge the practices from 1 April 2019.

Dr Ross is retiring from GP work and he will be greatly missed from the practice team. Dr Maconachie will be coming on board as a partner in the practice. These are the only planned changes to the practice staff under the new name of Church View Medical Practice.

We are proud of both of our practices and the personal care we have maintained over the years and we have always appreciated the positive feedback and support from our patients.

We understand that you may have questions about the merger. You can read further information on the posters in the waiting room or write to the practice manager Paula Skillen. Alternatively, you can submit a query on the contact form on this website.

This will be a time of change for all of us. Whilst we will work extremely hard to minimise the disruption, we would be grateful for your understanding during this time.
